Would you like to create Lillomarka World Stars in Orienteering?

One of Norway’s top clubs, Lillomarka orienteering team in Oslo, is looking for a new head coach to develop our talented youth, junior and senior athletes.

Part time employment between 20 – 40 percentage job, wages to be agreed upon with the trainer. The basic conditions of the team are very good.

There is a nice mixture of social acceptance and milieu and a well developed culture for training, goal setting and achievement. The athletes are highly motivated. Economic conditions of the club are solid, and so is the social fundament, with almost 400 members in Lillomarka.

Lillomarka has for some years now climbed steadily towards the world top. In 2014 we set a new record with a 12th spot in the mens Tiomila relay. Lillomarka also had six team members participating in WOC Italy and four in JWOC Bulgaria. Members of Lillomarka has achieved medals in JWOC every year since 2007.

We have a good supporting team with several ”secondary” coaches, one manager/sports administrator and one person responsible for map-printing. Of course these persons will be there to assist you. Cooperative skills will therefore be important. You can rely on a lot of help from the rest of the trainer-team, and especially from our manager Vidar Benjaminsen. This will make your working days easier.

The position may therefore be combined with your own top carrier if you have that kind of ambitions. We can assist you in finding a place to live (i e. apartment).

We are looking for you if you for instants are either

• A student with ambitions to become a top trainer in orienteering
• Elite athlete/orienteer with need of extra income and a desire to become a top coach
• Experienced trainer or former athlethe with a desire for success

(There are a lot of different kinds of backgrounds and reasons for applying that might be interesting to us.) We would like the trainer to start whenever he/she is ready, but hopefully within a couple of months.
